Plaid tweed and Liberty Pimpernel scarf

This scarf combines a classic plaid wool tweed with William Morris's design Pimpernel on Liberty of London's famous tana lawn, a perfect union of hardy tweed with the silky soft cotton lawn.

The 100% wool tweed uses a  colour palette of dried oak leaves and bracken and is accentuated by intersecting overchecks in soft heather and brown. The Pimpernel design is one of the great arts and crafts textile designs which has an almost symmetrical pattern of entwined cream and gold foliage and pimpernel plants with small autumnal red flowers.

The scarf is approximately 150cm (60") long and 15cm (6") wide
